Star Wars - The Old Republic #3 (Comic)

In Star Wars: The Old Republic Issue #3 we get the conclusion for the Threat of Peace story arc. Needless to say, it could have been better.

It's always interesting to see a Jedi walking the fine line between the light and dark side, and it's even better when that Jedi happens to be a master. The problem here though, the master in question was nothing more than a fried corpse after issue one, yet makes a miraculous appearance here in issue three with no attempt to explain how this trick was done.

Keeping with a really disappointing aspect of this series so far, when this master dies again, it's from a simple punch to the head, nothing more. Maybe Hollywood has destroyed our view on how much it takes to actually kill someone, even if they are Jedi and Sith; all we know is this series has yet to live up to the epic encounters we have come to know and love.

Old Republic is still only in its infancy (being just three issues in), and issue four is giving us a new story arc that will be dominated by Sith, so we're still prepared to hang in there for the long haul, are you?

Don't forget to check out Star Wars: The Old Republic Issue #4 - On Sale 10/6/10
