These Would Be My Avengers
Over on Twitter, user @JimxSabo asked for suggestions of Marvel characters to make up a new Avengers team.
Well to help him out I sent him a list of six characters that I would put on my team.
I still haven't decided if I'd go with Moon Knight or Gambit as team leader, but either man would make a fine choice in my opinion.
So who would make your team?

@Kapellusch's Joker
Here's another great piece of artwork from @Kapellusch.
Got to admit this is a pretty awesome looking Joker; cool looking Batman in the background too.

It's been a good ride, but as of February 2012, Bandai Entertainment will cease production of new manga, DVDs, and Blu-Rays.
Bandai Entertainment is responsible for bringing us many different Gundam series, Code Geass, Gurren Lagann, and many others.
We wish all at Bandai Entertainment the best in their future endeavors.

Sackhoff Confirms: She's In Riddick 3
Katee Sackhoff (Starbuck, Battlestar Galactica) has confirmed that she will be in Riddick 3 starring alongside Vin Diesel.
As far as in what capacity, Sackhoff is rumored to be a bounty hunter on the hunt for Riddick.
What do you guys think, is Sackhoff who you would have chosen to hunt Riddick?

Battle Los Angeles (Movie Review)
Okay, okay, I know this movie has been out since 3/11/11, but I've been busy (and kinda broke), so yes I'm just now getting around to seeing and reviewing Battle Los Angeles.
As far as a movie goes, Battle Los Angeles wasn't all that bad. No it's probably not going to win any awards, but for one seeking to lose their self for a little while, 116 minutes to be exact, then this film does a good job.
Synopsis: Sgt. Nantz (Aaron Eckhart) has just signed his retirement papers, but before he can walk away the plant Earth is invaded by an unknown alien race. Now Sgt. Nantz is sent into action with a new squad; their mission - to help in the defense of the city of Los Angeles.
The best way to describe this film is think Independence Day meets Saving Private Ryan. Just take away the humor, and instead of searching for one guy, Nantz and his squad are searching for a number of survivors held up in a police station.
Battle Los Angeles is packed full of great action, interesting CGI aliens, and a decent storyline. Some parts are predictable, and the end could have been better, but from start to finish this was a decent movie.
Grade: B

Happy New Year!!!
So long 2011, hello 2012!
New year means new hopes, dreams, and a few resolutions that we pray to follow through on (i.e. posting more often).
With films like Batman: The Dark Knight Rises, The Avengers, The Hobbit, and several others it looks to be another good year for the cinema too. Add in new and returning TV shows, some conventions (Megacon), comic books galore, and 2012 looks to be a fantastic year.
What in 2012 are you most looking forward too?
