Aquaman (Official Trailer)

Warner Bros. has finally shown the first trailer for Aquaman.

There are high hopes for Aquaman, especially since he was a high point in DC's Justice League film.

Jason Momoa reprises the role of Aquaman, along with Amber Heard as Mera. The film is also set to introduce one of Aquaman's greatest foes, Black Manta (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II)

Get ready to dive down to Atlantis this December 21,2018 when Aquaman opens nationwide.

Justice League - Official Trailer

The first trailer for DC's Justice League has landed! Trailer features Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Flash, and Cyborg; with appearances by Lois Lane, Alfred, Mera, and others.

Of course the most notable character missing is Superman, but hey he's supposed to be dead right? Yeah, don't worry he'll show up to save the day...sorry, night.

You can look for DC's Justice League to hit theaters November 2017.

Possible Justice League Movie Problem

So here's the problem I have with DC Comics' not even started Justice League film...

Member Characteristic Review

Superman

Obviously with Man of Steel just being released, a sequel already planned, and Justice League to follow that, it only makes since that Henry Cavill will be reprising the role of Superman, and this is where things go wrong. This Superman is not the usual goody-two-shoe boyscout we all grew up with in the comics, no this version is darker, willing to kill, and not too worried about collateral damage.

Green Arrow

It makes sense to have Green Arrow appear in a Justice League film, especially when you know the character has been well received on the small screen with the hit series Arrow, and Stephen Amell (the guy currently under the green hood) has already said he wants in. Personally would love to see this Green Arrow move from small screen to big, except that this archer is darker than his usual self and has no problem killing even when it could have been avoided.

Batman

Batman has always been a darker character than the other Justice League members, though he doesn't kill unnecessarily, and would rather work alone than with a team.

Currently we don't have a Batman actor since Christian Bale said he's through playing the Caped Crusader, but we also don't have a Flash, Wonder Woman, Martian Manhunter, or Cyborg, all of whom could be included in a Justice League film as well. But if you look at the three ready to appear characters, you can easily see that there isn't really a balance amongst them, they're really just the same character in a different outfit, and that's a problem.

Unfortunately that either means they have to forgo adding Green Arrow (or at least Amell's Arrow), or rewrite a character, which at this point would be be a very dangerous maneuver in of its self.

So the question now is how does DC resolve this problem, due they even see this as a problem? Or do we just go ahead and create darker versions of Flash, Wonder Woman, and the rest of the League and just go the route already started?

First Thoughts: CW's Arrow

Finally got around to watching the preview trailer to the CW's new series Arrow; based on the DC Comics' Green Arrow character.

Just being a teaser we didn't get much, but it was enough to get us interested in seeing an episode or two if nothing more. Still too early for us to tell how this one will play out.

However we still have to wonder if the CW is doing the right thing. Think back a little less than a year ago and one of CW's biggest shows was Smallville; a show about a young Clark Kent (Superman). And in this show there was a Green Arrow; played by Justin Hartley, who in his own right was a fantastic Green Arrow.

It just seems that it would have made more sense to stick with what they already had; an established Green Arrow with backstory already in place, an easy way to bring in other heroes and guest stars, and probably the most important thing for any show, fans. A lot of people liked the Smallville Green Arrow.

What do you guys think? Should the CW have stuck it out with the Smallville version of Green Arrow? Or have they done the right thing by rebooting the character?

Miss The Trailer, Check It Out Below
