Sci-Fi + FOX = Inevitable
Though not officially cancelled...yet, fans of the FOX series Dollhouse can pretty much expect not to see a third season.
After Dollhouse airs on Oct. 23, 2009 it will not air again until December, with back to back episodes. Although it must be noted that FOX has pulled the rest of the Friday night lineup, "Til Death" and "Brothers" for the month of November as well.
Many argue that Dollhouse should be put on another night, as should the network's other hit Sci-Fi series Fringe. There just seems to be a little problem, these shows would be unable to compete with what is currently running on CBS or NBC.
One reason Fringe was moved from Tuesday to Thursday was because it was unable to compete with NCIS. The move to Thursday was the best option due to the fact that CSI has lost many viewers with the departure of William Peterson (Gil Grissom) and Friday nights would have been a red flag to fans that they could soon kiss the show goodbye, so why bother watching.
So here's an interesting challange to all, can someone tell us what was the name of the last Sci-Fi series to go more than two seasons on FOX? - GJ
