FOX Asked For WHAT?!?!

Recently FOX put out notice that they are looking for writers, or anyone for that matter, that would be interested in coming up with a new series in the style of a Sci-Fi Western. Apparently FOX forgot about a little show that ran around seven years ago on their network called FIREFLY.


This news may not have angered the beloved Joss Whedon (actually no one really knows his reaction to this news), but for the rest of us, we're in more of a state of shock. If this is what FOX wants then why not bring back Firefly; you already know it has a fan base. A new show would have to start from scratch and after the way FOX treated Firefly, most won't even give a new series the opportunity to get off of the launch pad.

Maybe FOX thinks that enough time has passed and that we would all have forgotten about Firefly, or maybe they just wanted to be reminded by fans that they already blew a great opportunity with Firefly. Either way, we may or may not review a new Sci-Fi Western from FOX, it just depends on if they catch us on a good day. -GJ
