Star Wars: Battlefront - Death Star (Gameplay Trailer)

The third digital download for EA's Star Wars: Battlefront will allow players to explore, inside and out, one of the greatest locations in the franchise, the Death Star.

Not only will fans get to explore the Death Star but they'll be able to do it with some new characters as well; the fearsome bounty hunter Bossk and Han Solo's partner in crime, Chewbacca.

The trailer looks amazing and we can't wait to play around and in the Death Star later this September.

Must confess though, we, like many of you, were hoping to see the Millennium Falcon come to Luke's rescue too.

Book Review - Star Wars: Death Troopers

Finished reading the new Star Wars novel "Death Troopers" by Joe Schreiber and absolutely enjoyed it.

Death Troopers is the first Star Wars novel to cross over into the Horror genre, and provided a more adult theme. Joe Schreiber paints a very desolate scene aboard the prison barge Purge and creates an unforgettable cast of humans, creatures, and the living dead.

The story also contains two of the saga's greatest icons. We won't ruin the surprise by telling you who, but if you've seen screen shots for the upcoming Death Troopers expansion pack for the Star Wars Galaxies game, then you pretty much know already.

When the Imperial prison barge Purge - temporary home to five hundred of the galaxy's most ruthless killers, rebels, scoundrels, and thieves - breaks down in a distant, uninhabited part of space, its only hope appears to lie with a Star Destroyer found drifting, derelict, and seemingly abandoned. But when a boarding party from the Purge is sent to scavenge for parts, only half of them come back - bringing with them a horrific disease so lethal that within hours nearly all aboard the Purge die in ways too hideous to imagine.
