Ten years ago in 2000 Dungeons and Dragons made its debut on the big screen. Today for the first time in ten years the GJ staff watched D&D on a local TV channel, and can't believe that we completely forgot about this movie.
D&D will not be remembered as the greatest movie, but it wasn't really half bad; keeping in mind that this is a movie based off of a game played through the use of books and one's imagination.
As we reflected on D&D we realized that another little movie will face some of the same issues amongst the critics. This movie is World of Warcraft (WoW),which is a massive multiplayer online game.
If you haven't seen D&D we recommend it; it's a good way to prepare yourself for WoW, and we have a feeling you won't want to miss WoW. - GJ
