In Star Wars - The Old Republic Issue 5 we continue our journey with Teneb Kel, the young Sith sent to find the traitor Exal Kressh, the Emperor's former apprentice.
Kel comes face to face with Kressh, and after a brief exchange of blows is bested. Kressh spares his life, but brings down the entire space colony to make a clean escape.
Kel and his partner/pet/slave Maggot manage to get off the colony before it comes crashing down on the nearby planet, but their ship is damaged and they are left to hunt for the colony wreckage to find the appropriate materials needed to make repairs.
Kel travels alone and leaves Maggot to start repair work with what they have so far. Injured and out in the desert, Kel has a vision; a vision that leaves him with a glimpse of his future, a future he now plans on changing.
To make matters worse for Kel, while making repairs Maggot receives a visitor in the form of a young Jedi Padawan, who only wants to talk with Maggot, but informs him that his Master has gone off into the desert in search of something that he felt in the force.
