To The Comic Book Store #42

So this week's run to the comic book store was a tad bit on the disappointing side.

Why?

Well apparently as it turns out, I'm broke.

Oh well at least I was still able to pick up some free comics.

And that's it for this week. No WildC.A.T.S. action figures, still no Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comic, or anything else new and exciting.

The important part though is I had fun, and that's what really counts.

To The Comic Book Store #41

Oh Wednesday, how I cherish you. A run to the comic book store followed by Taco Bell, I am in Heaven.

The only bad thing about tonight is that I was unable to pick up the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comic because it literally flew off of the shelves; apparently a shock to all the employees, even the comic specialist. Oh well, there's always next week.

In the meantime check out what I scored this week...

Wildstar - Debut Trailer

So apparently this is an upcoming video game that has no release date and only PC listed under platform, well as of right now.

Consensus around the web is that no matter if this does well as a game or not, this should definitely be made into a series. *Hint *Hint Cartoon Network

I have to agree, this looks like it could be a better show than game, and it far outshines half the crap that is already out there.

What do you guys think, want to see this as a show? Planning to pick up the game? Or could you simply careless?

To The Comic Book Store #40

Ah the comic book store, how I've missed you.

Due to inclement weather people decided to stay home this week, so there weren't many people in the store; which means nothing exciting happened. Oh well.

There was however a guy who appeared to be very disappointed with himself because he only spent $323 instead of his normal $500 a week. How fair is life?

Anyways, here's what I picked up this week...

A Great Haul

I promise you that I did not set out to spend so much money yesterday, but it just seemed to happen.

Everytime I go out to a store I always have to hit the toy aisle in hopes of finding some of these rare gems; I finally struck gold.

Trip number one produced the above toy; the rare comic pack featuring Deadpool and the Taskmaster.

On run number two I finally found the infamous Captain America Crossbones figure (pictured below).

The toys were completely unintended purchases, the following Star Wars books on the other hand, well...yeah I set out to pick those up on purpose.

I could have spent way more on comic books and art supplies too, but decided I do need to eat at some point this week.

Have you guys ever had a day like this?

To The Comic Book Store #39

Sadly there was no run to the comic book store this week due to a family emergency.

But that's okay because family is more important than some silly old comic books; and it's not like we don't have over 50 unread comics just lying around anyways.

Everything is fine now though and we can all look forward to the enjoyment of next week's run.

To The Comic Book Store #38

Where did all of my friends that come to the comic book store on Wednesday nights disappear too? I miss you guys; those that show up now are rude, arrogant, loud, and very inconsiderate.

I don't like this change, and I surely don't like these freakin people.

Please come back my friends, I miss you!

Anyways, all I managed to pickup this week were free comics, though there were a few new releases that I wanted, I decided I needed to save the cash this week instead.

Enjoy.
